Inside the midnight garden - A collaboration woven in colour, memory & midnight light
-
For AW25, Tracey Boyd and NRBY reunite for their third collaboration - a capsule rooted in friendship, craft and the joy of dressing in the deep, dazzling months of autumn.
This season's collection echoes the beauty of autumn's twilight garden, where colour lingers as the night falls....
"For this season I looked at my tweed archives, which were always something unique and I really loved putting the tweeds together. Printing it as a velvet coat makes it light, easy to wear, modern."
This playfulness continues through the collection. The signature 'tweed' appears again - this time reimagined on silk crepe-de-chine, transformed into a tiered dress that slips effortlessly from day to evening.
"The idea of a midnight garden was probably the starting point for this season." Tracey explains. "I love the start of Autumn in garden, the fading and rich wonderful colours of reds, pinks, fuchsias with a sort of slight darkness to it as the flowers fade and the light dims at dusk..."
From this came the season's hero print: a silk dress washed in an ombré sunset sky, bold yet easy, perfect for parties and winter gatherings. "It's very versatile, incredibly easy to wear, yet deeply individual - which feels like the essence of the collaboration. Happy shopping!"
"The main thing I love about working in fashion again is working with a dear friend, Jo Hooper. She and I go back many years and have collaborated for some fabulous brands. It's wonderful to work with her on her own brand. This third BOYD X NRBY capsule is everything I love: sunset colours, midnight dahlias, rainbow silks, rich velvets, and multi-coloured tweeds - pieces we all want to wear in the deep, dark moments of winter."
This season's Carnival Print captures the shifting Autumn sky as it moves from sunset to dusk. The palette flows through both silk dresses and knitwear, bringing warmth and glow to midwinter wardrobes.
A capsule made for the deep midwinter
AW25 BOYD x NRBY feels like stepping into the garden at dusk: lush, moody, quietly radiant. A palette that deepens as the season does. Silhouettes that move effortlessly from morning to dinner. Fabrics that feels as good as they look. It is, simply, Tracey at her most imaginative, and NRBY at its most effortless...
