For more than five decades, Edina Ronay has occupied a distinctive place in British fashion — creating clothes defined by craftsmanship, individuality and an enduring sense of colour and glamour.

Her first collection of hand-knitted knitwear, presented at London Fashion Week, showcased her distinctive fairisle designs and quickly attracted the attention of Britain’s leading fashion retailers and soon Edina Ronay was being stocked extensively worldwide - in London, New York and Paris.

But Edina’s vision extended far beyond knitwear, and it was a natural move into tailored silhouettes in luxurious natural fibres, reflecting her love of colour and texture.

Her catwalk shows of the late 80s and 90s reflected the energy and style of the era and featured some of the most recognisable faces in fashion, including Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks, Jerry Hall and Kate Moss.

Edina’s love of jewel colours, natural fabrics and playful motifs makes her the perfect partner for NRBY. The joy of florals, modern interpretations of fairisles are knitted and embroidered in our signature soft merino wool. Mixed with the depth and zest of colour that only silk velvet can bring.

The ethos of only working with natural fabrics was there at the conception of Edina’s very first collection, and reflects the NRBY approach - creating timeless pieces that will bring delight for season after season, but that are ultimately biodegradable.

We have added a nod to Edina’s Hungarian heritage in the printed paisley coat and trousers - plus her signature pop of lining... This collection has been so much fun to bring together. Now enjoy!
