Just beautiful... if a little long
This is a beautiful dress - light and elegant and filled with promise.
I reached the floor on me - I'm 160cm / 5'3" - and was involuntarily sweeping the floor with every step. I had it shortened, which I could have done myself but I didn't trust myself not to ruin the whole thing. Now four inches shorter, its still long but the flowers are at least in tact.
But its worth factoring into the cost.
The quality in excellent. Its very light, nudging toward sheer, so you have to be alright about people being able to see your outline through it when the light is behind you.
I've bought it for a wedding and so haven't worn it for real yet. I have this vision of me, wafting around in this lovely dress, effortlessly mixing with guests and not worrying what I look like because I know my dress is wonderful. The reality might be something different, but I think I'll be covered.
Worth saying here that I liked the coat in the same collection, but I wanted to try it for size before buying. No such luck, as its been snapped up by savvy shoppers! Those who snooze lose...
